"YouTube works in the free Raptor Downloader app" YouTube and Reddit refuse website servers. Use the app; if it is installed, click Open in Raptor Downloader.

"That video could not be found" Open the link in your browser. If the video does not play there, it was deleted or made private. If it plays, copy the link again from the address bar; shared links are sometimes cut short.

"This video is private or needs a login" Raptor only downloads what anyone can watch without signing in.

"We found the post, but there is no video in it" The post has only photos or text. For photos, use the picture options the page offers.

The download did not start Use the link under the progress bar (If the download did not start). Some phone browsers block automatic downloads.

In the appCopy Anchor Link

"No internet connection" The app works online. Check your connection, then press Try again.

Nothing happens when I click "Open in Raptor Downloader" The app is not installed yet, or the browser blocked the request. Install the app, then click again and allow the browser to open Raptor Downloader.

A YouTube download fails with "Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" YouTube sometimes asks this of busy connections. Wait a few minutes and press Try again. More in this guide.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC" Click More info, then Run anyway. See Install on Windows.

Mac says the app cannot be opened Right-click the app in Applications and choose Open. See Install on Mac.

I do not see the Download button Point at the video itself; the button appears over it. Reload the page once after installing the extension.

Links open the website instead of the app The app is not running. Open Raptor Downloader first, then click the extension again.
